Keep Moving Forward
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
The first game I've ever completed, Keep Moving Forward! It's a topdown shooter where you play as a tank that can only move forward and strafe. It was cobbled together in a month as a break from my main project. It's definitely not the easiest game and could be improved, but as a game completed in one month I think it's pretty good.
Graphics (fonts, sprites, etc.), level design, programming and music were all done by me. Sound effects were made in sfxr and FamiTracker. This project was built in the Solarus Engine.
NOTE ABOUT CONTROLS:
You configure the controls the first time you start the game; if you want to reconfigure simply hit the 'Backspace' key on the title screen, then relaunch the game.

Install instructions
EITHER
- Download the zip file and unzip it in an empty folder
- Download the game files and the Solarus Launcher individually
AFTERWARDS
- Just run the game from that new folder.
- If you are using the launcher, run the launcher and click 'Add Quest'. Find the game files (Keep-Moving-Forward-Game) then run them through the launcher.
HOWEVER
The application may be blocked due to being from an unidentified developer. You can disable that through the settings on your computer.
